So many times I ask myself why I keep doing this. It's not like I have to. Or, maybe I do. I'm not sure any more. Each piece is meant to tell a story. Sometimes, the same story as the last, just in a different context.
What I have found, is that most of my stuff isn't enough of ONE THING to shove into one category...as much as everyone wants to. This leaves me "out there' when compared to established "norms".
"Not real photography" "Not enough manipulation" ...not enough of what is "expected".
The issue of course is that to compromise the vision and make what everyone else expects means failure of vision....something I cannot accept.
Photo manipulation using textures, layers and/or other edit actions that adds content not made in the original capture
